Outpost Delta 3 was a Federation outpost space station positioned as a communications array and monitoring station at the border of the Klingon Empire. The Delta Outposts were part of a number of measures taken for Federation security during the Federation-Klingon Cold War. Delta 3 was located in Beta Quadrant, in proximity to Davlos and the Boreth system. (ST reference: Star Charts)
