George Pell AC (born 8 June 1941) is a Roman Catholic cardinal and the current Archbishop of Sydney in the Roman Catholic Church. He was apponted as a cardinal by Pope John Paul II in 2003. He is one of the most prominent Christian leaders in Australia.
