The Pit was the name given by the locals to the deep pit on Aargonar 3 which was home to the moon's most well known sarlacc and was located very close to the Aargonar 3 rebel base. Many believed this to be the only sarlacc on the moon, however there were in fact several others in more isolated parts of this world.
