I assume you mean in Twilight. Bella says to Charlie that she likes Edward very much, and that she broke up with him because she did not want to be trapped in Forks like her mum, Renee, was. When she walked to the door, she said to him 'Just let me go, Charlie', which was what Renee said to him when she left him. In the film, Bella also says that she doesn't like watching baseball on the flatscreen, and eating at the diner every night, like Charlie does.
