The Pea Pod is as seen in the third and fourth levels from Pac-Man Plus. If eaten, you will earn 500 points plus a chance to eat the ghosts for another extra 6,000. This works the same way in the bootleg Ms. Pac-Man Plus: eat the pea pod, then the ghosts if you want to get them.
