May - September 1940: One million Russian soldiers (disguised as civilians) are transported to Italia Nuova. At the same time, women, children and various institutions (research centers) are moved away from Russian and Italian border areas to safer ones. October 1940: Unoccupied South Russia unites with Novorossiya forming the union of "Veliky y Novy Rossiya" (Old and New Russia). Gridenkov also has troops moving in. The German technocracy protests, gives Russia an ultimatum to leave the area. In the occupied areas of South Russia, a partisan war starts.
