Jimmy Martinez is a professional wakeboarder, he was born on May 12, 1988 in Madrid, Spain. At the age of 4, he started riding motorcycles with his father, which quickly turned into his biggest passion, as he loved the speed and adrenaline that he felt while riding. At the age of 14, Jimmy saw someone wakeboarding for the first time and immediately decided he wanted to try it himself. That year, he entered the Amateur National Series and he got 7th place in his first wakeboard contest ever. From then on, he would spend the winter months riding his motorcycle and wakeboarding during the summer.
