The USS Determination (NX-78236) was an experimental Federation escort starship in Starfleet service during 24th century. She was the first of her class. The Determination was one of two hybrid Starfleet-Kaartali Star Navy starships in service in the 2370s, assigned to the USS Cantabrian-A as a support craft. Features included a standard type 7-A warp drive and Kaartali transphasic torpedo launchers. Standard crew compliment was approximately 40.
