Tigre Salvaje Jr is a second generation luchador, the son of the original "Savage Tiger", who was a regular worker for OLLIE in the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s. Although his father never cracked the main event scene - probably due to a combination of politics, his own chronic lack of ambition, and the fact that he was always a good worker, not a great one - Tigre Salvaje Jr has high hopes of becoming a big star in Mexico, and he certainly has the athletic background to do it. In 2007 he started working regularly for the FCW promotion in Puerto Rico, hoping to build up his skills in order to attract offers from Mexico.
