Vellos in the Vellos system is now a dead world, but in the days of the Colonial Council it was the adoptive homeworld of the Vell-os people. It was once one of the most beautiful planets in all of Vell-os space, or indeed, all of known space. During the Colonial Council's war with the Vell-os, it, like so many other Vell-os planets, was glassed from orbit by nuclear weapons.
