Norman Mitchell (20th August, 1918 - 19th March, 2001) was a British actor who played farmer Mr Butterworth on Coronation Street in August 1966. His other credits include numerous films in the Carry on series, Doctor Who, Crossroads, The Prisoner, Dad's Army, On the Buses and Emmerdale Farm.
