Īzuka provided the voice of Doctor Neo Cortex from Crash Bandicoot up to Crash Tag Team Racing. Outside of the Crash Bandicoot series, he is best known for providing the voices of Hakaider in Jinzō Ningen Kikaider, Ryū Jose in Mobile Suit Gundam, Heart and Fudō of the Mountain in Hokuto no Ken, Dino Geist in Yūsha Exkaiser and Happōsai Ueta in Nintama Rantarō.
