Among the Fallen: Resurrection is an adult action-horror novel by author Scott Beadle and co-written by Ross Shortall. It is the first book of the Among the Fallen series, and introduces twenty-one-year-old Alexandra "Alex" Beaumont, who is murdered on the outer-limits of the fictional American city of Blackwater. Three months later, Alexandra is resurrected and told by four Fallen exiles that she has until sunrise to find and execute the five Fallen Challengers. The Fallen Challengers are the Five children of Hades and represent the five points of the pentagram. The Fallen challengers are Erinyes, Zagreus, Melinoe, Makaria and Minos.
