Inertial Restraints are a form of restraining gear that manipulate gravity and inflict pain on prisoners. The restraints themselves contain miniature gravity generating devices that can be adjusted by a control device. The inertial restraints act as a virtual ball and chain and electroshock device all in one. Elssbett Mossadim-Bolivar used them to hold Dylan Hunt on the Eureka Maru when she was on her way to kill thousands in the capitol of the Jaguar Pride.
