Oxenbrigg was an Imperial crew chief of a naval hull-integrity maintenance crew. Due to his expertise in maintaining vessels, he gave a report stating some details on what hazards to look out for when traveling in deep space, in particular fauna that pose a threat to various vessels such as Mynocks and Space slugs. His report was later included in the official field manual for the Imperial Military, the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide.
