Blick Mason was the twin brother of Hollis Mason. He often resented his older brother's excapades. Right down until he became Nite Owl. Blick Mason often grew in his older brother's shadow. So much so he secretly organized his brother's death by convincing a lynch mob to kill him. However his act did not end the fame of Nite Owl, due in part to his protege Nite Owl II. As such Blick took up the name Nite Owl and commited a host of terrorist crimes in order to make the Nite Owl name a feared one.
