The Ranma ½ television series ran for one season before being canceled. Following its cancellation, it was brought back as Ranma ½ Nettōhen (らんま½ 熱闘編 Ranma ½ Nettōhen?); nettōhen roughly translating to "crazy battle compilation". This version ran for six more seasons before the series' end. Two feature-length movies were produced during the show's run. A third movie and twelve OVAs were produced following the last episode. Airdates reflect first airing in Japan. The TV series was originally aired in Japan on Fuji-TV on their programming slot "Teens Golden Time".
