The Supreme Commander of the Imperial Fleet, also known as Supreme Commander, Supreme Fleet Commander, Supreme Commander of the Imperial Military, or Military Executor, is the highest-ranking military official in the Galactic Empire. The Commander directs all military forces and executes the Emperor's orders through military will. Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine's Sith apprentice, is currently the Supreme Commander. Vader is also Military Executor, Palpatine's primary lieutenant, and his formal repersentative in certain official ceremonies and events.
