The Type 79 is a mini rocket launcher of Chinese origin, in which the user has the option either to throw conventionally or firing it using an attached rocket motor to a base range of 25 meters or an indirect fire range of 400 meters. When using the rocket motor, the skill used is similar to that of firing a rifle grenade, but hitting probabilities in indirect fire mode is slightly more difficult due to the difficulty in aiming a hand held device.
