The Tambourines has a very long history, and drawings that date back before the birth of Christ look little different than modern ones. These particular tambourines, a part of Vercci's collection, are presumably extremely old and valuable. They are not weapons, but perhaps it might lead opponents to let their guard down. They are used as Voldo's joke weapon in Soulcalibur II and Soulcalibur III. Even though there is a tambourine fighting style in Soul Calibur III, these particular tambourines are not used in that style.
