The KP Koopas are a minor league team at the Glitz Pit consisting of two KP Koopas and a KP Paratroopa. They are just normal Koopas that painted their shells a different color to distinguish themselves from other Koopas. Mario befriends their leader early on, a KP Koopa by the name of King K.
