Rovers secured three points, and moved further clear of the League Two relegation zone, with a 2–0 victory over an Oxford United side which featured ex-Gas men Sean Rigg and Justin Richards in their starting eleven. Lee Brown gave Rovers the lead from the penalty spot ten minutes into the second half following a foul on Ryan Brunt, before Eliot Richards sealed the win deep into injury time.
