History: Borton-Lawson was founded in 1988 by Christopher Borton, as "Borton Engineering Associates, Inc." providing general Civil Engineering services. Continuing in 1988, Thomas Lawson, P.E., P.L.S., joins the firm adding Structural Engineering to the firm's services and later becomes stockholder. Surveying services were added to the firm in 1989 and two years later, Mechanical and Electric engineering were both added to the firm's services. The current name, Borton-Lawson Engineering, Inc. was established in 1992. With the new millenium, Borton-Lawson added archetectural expertise and developed the sub division of "Borton-Lawson Architecture, Inc" under the existeing firms services.
