The USS Kitkun (NCC-1091) was the second Akula-subclass Akyazi-class Federation perimeter action starship in Starfleet service in the late 23rd century, commanded by Lieutenant Commander Sori Descanta. Kitkun was laid down at Terran Rockwell's Spacecraft Divsion at Pedersen Spaceport on Earth on 22 September 2286, launched 29 November 2287 and commissioned to TacFleet service on 18 June 2288.
