Pinealism is named for a particular type of internet poster who is all like "LOLZOMFGPINEAL23SKIDOOFNORD!!!!!11111eleventyoneoneone" all the freakin' time. "Pinealist" is a generally derogatory term for a behavior which occurs in some Discordian communities. Pinealist style of expression outside of direct parroting may be misunderstood art. It not only has obvious connections to Dada and Surrealism, but also anti-art, Art Brut, and outsider art. This tends to be a minority view, even amongst discordians.
