Ty, Inc. has produced two Kermit the Frog plush toys in its popular Beanie Babies and Beanie Buddies toy lines. For Christmas 2012, Ty released a Beanie Babies set of four Disney characters wearing Santa Claus hats, including Kermit, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. The set was available exclusively at the Walgreens drug store chain, and was the first set of toys released by Ty under their new license with Disney. In 2013, Ty produced a larger Kermit the Frog plush as part of their Beanie Buddies line.
