Octopuses are enemies in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are a sub-species of Octoombas. They are very large in size. They are grey with white spots and a blue antenna. They have two, round body segments with four small feet at their bottom. In Super Mario Galaxy, these enemies mostly appeared in areas with Airships in them. They would hide in barrels or stand on platforms until Mario appeared. When Mario has entered their range they shoot Fireballs and Coconuts at him. This is their main attack. In Super Mario Galaxy 2 they reappear only in the Shiverburn Galaxy. They act like the final defense line before facing Prince Pikante.
