This pocket watch was owned by Albus Dumbledore. It was made of gold, had twelve hands, and rather than numbers, planets moved around the edge of its face. Despite this, it apparently could still be used to tell time, as Dumbledore was able to deduce that Rubeus Hagrid was running late in his delivery of Harry Potter to 4 Privet Drive in 1981 by consulting this watch. In 1996, after the conclusion of the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, Dumbledore consulted this watch to see how much of his time he could afford to spend with Cornelius Fudge to discuss the events of said battle.
