Lord Oskatat is a somewhat elderly Murgo. He has the title Seneschal or more specifically, "Lord High Seneschal" and is second in command of Cthol Murgos (second only to King Urgit). He is described as a big man, "a heavy shouldered Murgo of late middle age" who is extremely competent. He has gray hair and a heavily-lined scarred grim face. He spoke in a rasping voice. Belgarion of Riva highly recommends to Urgit in The King of the Murgos that Urgit should let Oskatat pick his administrators.
