The Imperial Navy, also called the Imperial Fleet and Imperial Armada, was the space navy of the Dark Empire. Formed around 251 ABY following the splitting of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate, the Imperial Navy contained many former Triumvirate Navy vessels. It was led by a group of Grand Admirals, which were part of the Naval Command. The Navy's organization was very similar to that of the Imperial Navy of the Galactic Empire, which it was a restoration of. The Navy's flagship was an Eclipse-class Star Dreadnought known as the Maelstrom, and was the personal vessel of Emperor Johan Fel.
