Fever is a designer street drug commonly found in the criminal markets of Gotham City. Officially known as Feverol Trinitrite, the drug acts as a stimulant, is available in pill form, and sells for approximately five dollars for four pills. Like most narcotics, Fever is extremely habitual and addicts are often referred to as Feverheads. Imbibing two Fever pills produces a fast high, wherein the user experiences accelerated levels of energy, increased stamina and a loss of inhibitions. It has been described as "Getting' a bucket of flame poured over your, 'cept it feels good". The high lasts for approximately half an hour, before users begin feeling symptoms of withdraw, such as cold sweats and agitation.
