On the guard's first day on the job, he answered a phone outside River Song's cell. The call was from Winston Churchill in 1941. He was trying to reach the Eleventh Doctor, but call was rerouted by the TARDIS.The guard was confused when Winston asked for the Doctor, thinking he wished to talk to Doctor River Song. By the time reinforcements arrived, he was in Song's cell pointing a gun at the picture, thinking it was really River and that her lipstick hadn't worked on him. (TV: The Pandorica Opens)
