The "Washout Lane" is the informal term for the walk off the training base for Mobile Infantry recruits who choose to quit before their training is complete. One is prominently seen in Starship Troopers at Camp Currie; it is unknown if other camps have a similar designated location. After recruit member Breckinridge was accidentally killed by Djana'D during a live fire training exercise due to his helmet malfunction, Djana'd signed 12-40-A to quit at the terrible incident she caused.
