Wicky was the leader of a small band of three stoats. He was tall and lanky, and owned an old cutlass which was chipped. Like most leaders of small vermin bands, he was a bully but also a coward. His band tied up Malbun Grimp and Crikulus when the two Redwallers ran into them, and was about to chop off Malbun's paw when they were sent packing by Skipper and Log-a-Log Groo. They later had an encounter with the snakes Zassaliss, Harssacss and Sesstra near Brockhall. Kligger, one of the stoats, was killed. Wicky and Burgogg ran for their lives but met Groo and Skipper yet again. They were interrogated about the adders, then told to leave Mossflower and never return. After their frightening encounters, they probably were only too happy to oblige.
