20th Guards Cavalry Divison was a Soviet cavalry division assigned to 8th Guards Army. Prior to reorganization as a cavalry division, it was the 20th Guards Motorized Rifle Division, a Category 1 (Category A) motorized rifle division, part of Group of Soviet Forces Germany (GSFG).
