The Artful Dodgers are fans of Daniel, the homeless boy adopted by Nick, LaCroix, and Janette in the flashback to the Season One episode, "Father Figure", and later brought across by LaCroix. The name was proposed by April French in 2012 when a number of new faction names were being created. However, it was, she said, a name that she had had in mind for some time.[1]
