A devout Wayist, Blake seeks the aid of his fellow believer Rev Bem in dealing with slaver raids on his new home on Serendipity. He is, however, appalled by Dylan's plan to train the locals to defend themselves with violence, and destroys a weapons cache the captain was building up.
