Around 33 ABY, when the New Galactic Empire was at it's hight, many people across the galaxy who did not like the direction that the Empire was headed formed rebellions and resistances across the galaxy. After several months of fighting, most were crushed, except for the biggest rebellion, the Chandrila Resistance. They took over the government by attacking Coruscant, and taking over it and killing the Galactic Emperor.
