Adrienne Kuwano was a Human female serving in Starfleet in the 24th century. At some point prior to the year 2311, Commander Kuwano was killed on a covert mission under classified circumstances. In falsified records, Adrienne Kuwano was recorded as being promoted to captain and being made commanding officer of the Federation starship USS Universe. When that vessel was destroyed, Kuwano was memorialized as a victim of a hyperwarp engine accident, despite having died some time before being posthumously promoted to that position.
