A lokeg wasp was a type of wasp, a biting insect animal found on the planet Tezwa. Its bite was usually fatal to Tezwans; Commander William Riker of the USS Enterprise-E was bitten by one and survived while leading Alpha Team to disable the nadion-pulse cannon firebase in the swamp-like Mokana Basin, but suffered sluggish responses and mild hallucinations.
