Adegan was a male Shard from the planet of Orax. For the majority of his life, he sat there in his crystal formation like all others of his species. This was until Jedi started to arrive on his planet in search of crystal for their lightsabers. One particular master had heard of Adegan's race before, so the Jedi took the crystal that was Adegan and placed it in the droid body so he could function like a sentient being and learn the ways of the force.
