Mark Gold was elected to Parliament in 2853. In 2867, Mark Gold was easily elected leader of the SDP. Gold named Jennifer Moon to serve as his Deputy Leader and Vice Presidential candidate. It is known that the two did not have a good relationship and that Gold only nominated Moon in order to win female votes. Ultimately he was easily elected President of the Republic of Baltusia.
