The Hoverby Mark II is a Badnik seen in the Speed Slider area of the Knuckles' Chaotix video game. The robot resembles a butterfly but has replaced wings with hover-fans, allowing the Badnik to keep a constant airborne threat. Although the Badnik has not appeared in any strips, it was given a 'Danger Rating' of 4/5 in the Knuckles Knock-Out Special. Hoverby can be seen as an upgrade to Pata-Bata, the butterfly Badnik from Sonic CD.
