Aaron Sorkin, born June 9, 1961 in New York City, New York, USA, is a motion picture writer and producer. He is the creator of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. He is an Executive Producer and the show runner for the series. He has been active since 1992 and has also worked on the series Sports Night, The West Wing, and The Newsroom and the films A Few Good Men, Charlie Wilson's War, The Social Network, and Moneyball.
