Kabrel I was the uninhabited first planet in the Kabrel system. The planet was home to simple protozoa and tri-nucleic fungi. In 2374, the Dominion attempted to negotiate with the Federation for control of Kabrel I, as they could utilize the fungi to replenish their supplies of ketracel-white for an indefinite period.
