This Gypceros' outer shell is covered in hard rubber, it is proposed that it obtains it by first making a "bed" of rubber trees and rolling in it, then fly into hot regions to start melting the rubber, this proves that the Gypceros is a highly intelligent species. When heat is released from its body, the blue parts will become red and then slowly turn blue again.
