Roff Stricker was the head of the flight school as well as the Strutterworks. He was devoted to the Poseidian goals of wiping out the animal life on Dinotopia. His pet project at the Strutterworks was a giant air scorpion powered by the ruby sunstone. When the invasion of Dinotopia was launched, Stricker piloted the air scorpion himself, leading the assault on Highnest. When Gideon Altaire and his band of allies destroyed the air scorpion, Stricker escaped in a small skimmer just before crashing.
