Orbital Station Guardian was the Galactic Empire's largest military hub in the Core Worlds since its construction in 1 ABY. It served as a naval port, Imperial Army barracks, military academy, and command center for Imperial High Command throughout the Galactic Civil War and the Post-Endor Imperial power struggle. The station was constructed over O'paal along the Tarkin Corridor. Many prominent Imperial officers attended the station's academy.
