John Fitzpatrick was a boss at the Mark Brittain Warehouse, who broke up a fight between Ivy Tilsley and Edna Gee which erupted when Edna suggested to Ivy that there was something going on between her and Alan Howard. John told off supervisor Elsie Howard for allowing the women's argument to escalate and reprimanded her for allowing her Alan in the warehouse. Aware that Elsie had taken Ivy in at 11 Coronation Street due to a falling out between Ivy and her husband Jack, John also advised Elsie to get rid of her.
