A Distraction Ball is an experimental piece of technology that was designed by Makes-Things to be used to distract canon characters while PPC agents do their work. Unfortunately, the Distraction Ball works on all canon characters—which includes many PPC agents. Only self-insert PPC agents can use it without being distracted by its extremely shiny nature; even then, some are distracted anyway. The Distraction Ball has become unpopular even among agents who can use it, thanks to its tendency to hypnotize their partners.
